Each project begins with a thorough understanding of the vehicle, its operating environment and the performance objectives of the program. Whether the target is circuit performance, road refinement or maximum sustained output, the engineering is structured around those priorities from the first day.

BUILT AROUND THE PLATFORM

No two platforms share the same constraints. Airflow characteristics, thermal boundaries, packaging requirements and calibration parameters differ with every architecture. Tachyon Engineering develops each system around the specific engine and operating environment of the vehicle. Turbo sizing, scroll geometry, turbine response and boost management are resolved as a single integrated system. The measure of success is not peak output alone, but consistent, reliable performance across the full operating range.

System performance is determined by the interaction between every component under load. Airflow efficiency, thermal stability, boost response and mechanical integrity must be resolved together. Each system is developed with precise attention to weight restrictions, temperature management and performance consistency. From intake architecture and manifold geometry to intercooling strategy and exhaust flow, every variable is evaluated in context of the complete system and the conditions it will face.

A detailed evaluation of the vehicle platform: available packaging space, engine airflow characteristics, thermal boundaries and defined performance targets.

2.   SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT

The turbo configuration, supporting components and integration strategy are developed around the specific requirements and objectives of the program.

5.   FINAL INTEGRATION

The completed system is prepared and validated for its intended application according to IATF 16949:2016 standards, whether road use, motorsport or a limited-production program.

With our in-house assembly line, our quality standard is maintained through every step of the process.

Components and assemblies are produced and tested to validate fitment, engine performance and thermal behavior under controlled conditions.
