The big rally in Mexico has started last Friday. Tachyon Motorsport joins the long rally with 3 cars: two Shelby GT350's. With in the first car Henk & Eva Harkema and in the second car Mike van Thiel & Michel Oprey. Also Michiel and Karen Campagne are there with their special build Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport.
Delmo Johnson drove the same rally back in 1964 with a Grand Sport. This is the first return of the Grand Sport ever since!

This rally can also have serious dangers in it. This morning we got this photo from Mexico:

Michiel and Karen went off the road and landed and upside down. Due to oil on the road Michiel could not hold the car.
Both Michiel and Karen only suffer some minor injuries. Michiel has some minor neck issues and Karen has only a few bruised ribs and a headache.

We are so happy to hear they are OK after this severe crash!
