Last weekend we visited Circuit Zandvoort for the State of Art Grand Prix Classic. As usual we took a lot of cars to the track.

Nico Zonneveld and his Morgan +4SS, Frits Campagne with his Ford Falcon, Karen Campagne with her Ford Mustang, Eiso Bergsma and his Ford Mustang, Joep Westerveld with his Marcos 1800GT, on Saturday Han in ’t Veld with the Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport and on Sunday Michiel Campagne behind the Grand Sports’ wheel. Also Jan Storm tried his Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. Sadly the engine broke down during the free practice sessions on Saturday morning.

For Han this was the first real race he drove after being absent in the racing scene for a long while. It was quite a hand full for him to drive the car on the limit.

On Sunday there was so much rain that the whole field got mixed up. This resulted in very nice battles among the little & light ‘slow’ cars and the big & heavy ‘fast’ cars.
