The night:
During the second qualifying session the clutch started to act weird. After some checking it seemed to be that the clutch was stuck. The mechanics worked till late and managed to unmount the engine, replace the clutch plates and started to remount the engine.

Saterday morning they continued the mount and found out that the bellhouse was torn. After welding the bellhouse the engine was mounted back.

Race 1:
The Corvette Grand Sport was ready for the race just in time.
Eventually Han in 't Veld was the quickest Tachyon driver, he became 5th. Joep Westerveld finished on the 11th place, Max Boodle was driving the yellow Corvette for the first time (also the first time on this track) and he finished on the 13th place in a field of 46 cars. Frits Campagne finished on the 19th place, Allard Kalff on the 26th place and Karen Campagne on the 26th place.
