Midsummer races. Last weekend the Dutch GT4 and the NK HTGT raced on the Assen Circuit.
As usual we joined the Dutch GT4 races with the red GT4 Mustang. We participated the NK HTGT series with the Corvette GrandSport, Ford Mustang, Ford Falcon, Morgan +4SS and the Marcos 1800.

For the first time Michiel Campagne drove his brand new Corvette Grand Sport on a Dutch track.
For the first race he got pole position, how can it be different with a car that fast.

Nico Zonneveld started the race from a very good 7th position, Joep Westerveld started from the 10th position, Frits Campagne from the 12th position and Karen Campagne started the race from the 21st position. This time it was a big field of cars, 30 cars were on the grid.
It was the first time Karen drove on the Assen Circuit, she did a really great job with that 21st position.

Race 1 was great to watch, lots of overtaking in the middle of the field.

Right after the formation lap Joep had a problem with his car. The differential broke down. And two laps before the end of the race Frits ran out of fuel.

Finally Michiel finished on the 1st place, Nico on the 5th place and Karen on the 16th place.

Race 2, again pole position for the powerful Grand Sport.
Again, this was a race with great battles. Nico was fighting against the big Falcon of Martin Bijleveld for a lot of laps.

This time all Tachyon drivers finished the race.
Michiel on the 1st place, Nico on the 6th place, Joep on the 8th place, Karen on the 10th place and Frits on the 14th place.
