The very last races of the Dutch GT4 season 2010.

For this last race weekend the number 2 car was driven by Allard Kalff and Jonathan du Toit. Jonathan, the South-African guest driver, already drove a GT4 race with his brother Mark earlier this year. The number 9 car was driven by Hans Hugenholtz and Pieter-Christiaan van Oranje.

In the first race on Saturday the number 2 car of Allard Kalff caught fire due to a differential leakage.

As you can see in this video the second race seemed to end in the very first corner of the race for both the Mustangs. Luckily Jonathan could continue but had to come into the pits first for a tire change.

Due to the amount of debris and the various damaged cars the race got red flagged and delayed. Jonathan's car was ready in time to join the restart. Sadly the other car was too heavy damaged to rejoin the race.
Jonathan finished the race on a wonderful 7th place.

The car from Hans Hugenholtz and Pieter-Christiaan van Oranje could not be fixed in time for the long race, so only Jonathan's car was on the start grid.

After about 20 minutes Jonathan gave over the steering wheel to Allard Kalff. For a long time it seemed that he could finish the race but 3 laps before the end suddenly there was an electronic malfunction.

We are looking forward to season 2011!
